Dr. Glatt hails from Knoxville, Tennessee and swam varsity at Sewanee: The University of the South, where he was an Academic First Team All-American and received his BS in biology. Dr. Glatt ranked number 3 in his class and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Glatt then completed his dental training at the University of Kentucky, finishing second in his class and being inducted into the National Dental Honor Society and receiving the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholar award. His research has focused on growth maturation in the African American population, as well as various projects in the field of microbiology.
While at UK, Dr. Glatt volunteered in free dental clinics for uninsured adults and provided free dental care to disadvantaged youths in the Lexington area. Dr. Glatt completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville. He was the Chief Resident at the University of Louisville and his treatment philosophies and dedication to patient care closely mirror those of Dr. Perelmuter.
