Your initial appointment will be an exam and consultation appointment with one of the doctors to evaluate your orthodontic needs. 
Dr. Perelmuter or Dr. Goldberg will do a very thorough evaluation of your teeth, bite and smile. This will allow us to decide if orthodontic treatment would be of benefit. After this evaluation, we will explain our findings and review your particular concerns. In the case of children, if orthodontic treatment would best be deferred until additional dental development or skeletal maturation has occurred, you will be placed on a recall schedule until timing or growth is more favorable.
Should treatment be indicated at this time, we will discuss treatment options, estimated treatment length and financial options. In some cases, we may take diagnostic radiographs, photographs and study models to allow us to develop a precise treatment plan, which we will review with you at a subsequent visit.
